Dash Beacons use either Halogen, Strobe, or LED technologies. Designed to be portable &/or permanent and very compact for dash board mounting giving you the front warning you need.

Halogen revolving beacons contain a single tungsten filament lamp around which a curved mirror is spun creating a rotating beam of light. Halogen bulbs have increased lifetime and produces light of a higher color temperature.

LED beacon lighting is very popular in the emergency services and are completely solid-state, very power-efficient, and have an extreme long-life. Typically use a clear, colorless dome, with a wide variety of flash/strobe patterns, and no bulbs to ever replace. * Class 1 is for high intensity emergency, Class 2 is road warning, Class 3 electric vehicle/material handling applications. *

Strobe Beacons use xenon gas flash tubes that put out a brief very bright flash, have a variety of flash/strobe patterns, and using colored filter lenses can offer a wide range of colors.

Lightbars contain rotating beacons, strobes, or LED-based lights in various configurations and many offering programmable flash patterns. They may include a second, lower, tier of lamps, such as clear halogen "takedown" lights towards the front to illuminate the vehicle being stopped, clear side-facing "alley" spotlights, additional lightheads towards the rear for scene protection, or directional traffic advisory arrows.
